Infrastructure:

·          The Hostels
Separate hostels for both boys and girls are provided. A vegetarian, non vegetarian and a North Indian mess is provided to cater to the needs of students from every part of the country. The hostel rooms are well furnished to create study environment for the students.

·          Canteen
The college provides a healthy environment in the canteen and makes sure that quality food is served at reasonable price. It helps the students refresh themselves with snacks in order to keep them always alive and active.

·          Library
VIM provides the students with an excellent selection of books and journals on management as well as other subjects. The library is located in a spacious building. There is also a good collection of audio and videotapes for the use of faculty and students. The management has sanctioned huge amount to purchase books and to update library facilities for the use of both students and faculty.

·          Faculty
VIM has qualified and experienced permanent faculty, who are highly, placed management experts of proven academic calibers. In addition to the existing faculty, guest faculty is identified from reputed institutions / industries considering their wide experience, professional reputation and specialization. Besides, Vijayanagar institute of management is inviting executive and experts from the institutions like, BSAL, JVSL, DIC, VEC, etc., to interact with the students to discuss case studies and to provide them useful information in their respective areas of specialization.

·          Industry Interaction
We have well equipped Industry Interaction Cell headed by a co-ordinator. The cell organizes the industrial tours and visits. We are conducting industrial tour for the outgoing batch every year with a view to gain practical experience.

·          Counseling Center
Proof of the fact that the college really cares for its students is the presence of a much visited Counseling Center. Highly qualified and caring faculty and counselors speak to and advise students regularly on issues ranging from those concerned with education to those relating to the heart.

·          Alumni
Vim's Alumni Association organizes annual meeting of the alumni and helps the outgoing batches in summer placement and final placements.

·          Placement Cell
VIM has established a well equipped placement cell to help the students for project and final placements. The cell is inviting different companies to conduct campus interviews.
